Some of the activities and opportunities we have at Cheeky Monkeys are:

All the school age children who I care for have the opportunity to have penpals who are from another childminding setting. This is a great way for the children to learn about other people, their families and lives and different cultures. 

We learn about hygiene and how to wash our hands, we learn about eating healthy and keeping our bodies healthy.

We go out and explore our local environment and we learn to be safe when we cross the roads.

We learn about different people and cultures, we make friends and learn about sharing, taking turns and respecting other people. We learn about rules and if we upset someone we learn how to say ‘sorry’.

After we have had all this fun we learn that we need to take care of ourselves and that our bodies need a rest to recover.
